MORE than 5000 people have been helped into jobs by First Contact, a not for profit training and employment agency which is about to celebrate 12 years in business on the Central Coast.

About one fifth of the people First Contact has helped to find and keep jobs were people with a disability.

First Contact's Brian Yates more than 15 per cent of placements were traineeships or apprenticeships.
